Amanda Lawrence's striking kiln formed and engraved glass pieces are inspired by the beauty and power of animals and birds and by the myths and legends that surround them. After training as a glass engraver at West Dean College and Eastleigh College, Amanda graduated in glass design from Wolverhampton University and the International Glass Centre, Brierley Hill. Her distinctive vessels, sculptures and wall pieces are featured in exhibitions and galleries around the country and she also works to commission.

Whether created for exhibition or tailored to a client's own requirements, her work is always exciting, unusual and a delight to own.

Amanda is a member of the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen, a Fellow of the Guild of Glass Engravers and a member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen. She works from her studio in Gloucestershire. Please contact her for a brochure or for more information about any of the work shown on this site.
